Cruiser. Thanks for your letter and the spirit in which it was written. I agree with what you say. In fact, we have some very long discussions in the gym on supplements. We all do agree on more Protein, but beyond that, it's just like asking someone what kind of car they should buy.....you get a lot of different answers and a lot of arguments...but in the end we are all members of the boxing fraternity and try to look out for one another. When Creatine is used, it is a 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off program. We have had some success with it on the layman theory that it makes the muscle cells absorb faster. But everyone is different and what works for one, does not necessarily work for another. I am also amazed that some people can load up on the worst food and come out looking great and stronger. Hardest fighter I ever knew drank whiskey like water and maintained a strong body because he was a track layer and rail repair guy for the railroad. Good luck with you training and in the ring. I'm sorry to see younger fighters going off into MMA and ignoring the training they can receive in boxing.
