FNF fight thread -January 27th

Ruslan and Ji Hun make this a good espn2 card. I'm looking forward to it.

Yup, should be worth watching, the card starts in about 1 hour and 20 minutes, i'm havin' a couple beers tonight, I spent most of the day raking & burning leaves, time to chill and watch some fuckin' boxing. Michelob Marzen, a decent domestic beer.

switch to a Miller/Coors product. My best friend has worked there in the lab for over a decade and I try to encourage all to support his endeavors. Drink some coors/miller products.

Coors and Coors light used to be a favorite of mine, back in the day, i'd guzzle the stuff, if I could find it, i'd like to buy a case of reg Coors Quarts (32 Oz) that's great after mowing the grass in the summer time.

Well I rarely drink, and I'm mean rarely, but when I do drink, I drink. Hey, I was in Vegas, and I was playing blackjack with 3 good looking guys, who just happened to want to keep doing shots. What's a girl to do.

I assume they were buying the shots?

anyone scoring this bout? I'm not but I would guess that I would have scored at least 5 rounds for Kim thru 8, if not more.

Someone at some point should have tuahgt Amidu to take a step to the side instead of straight back. Going straight back is horrible, yet so many fighters do it.

Hard pressed to think of a guy standing as tall during and after getting off but still there. Looks like a T-ball stand

Amidu has found life, Kim is evolving but playing with fire a bit. This guy is way to hittable (Amidu) to still be upright I believe. Tough but early on he was wearing roller skates.

The styles don't match up. When was the last time B-Hop was in a good looking fight I've yet to see one. At one point in time I figured Chad Dawson would be a sure thing as a dominant champion, never going to happen now.

I've never been a Provodnikov fan. Good action fighter, but I'm not a fan...I don't see whats so great about him. To me he's just Leo Dorin on steroids.

I think folks are pulling the trigger waaay to quick off ONE round. Styles yes, they need to be stoked at times but at least Hopkins has had the best of two different styles in career and made adjustments...Dawson I believe has just somehow gone sideways in career, its weird really. Hard to pinpoint. But what they have is controversy and dispute thats gone personal and under all of the huff and puff...these two DO have superb talent. Its there, I swear

I'd say the Pascal scraps were actually pretty good. First one no doubt, bookoo people loved it if for anyother reason Hopkins being bounced off the canvas

The problem is Dawson isn't Pascal...he doesn't attack well at all, he smothers himself. I just don't see it being any fun to see.

Thats what tells me alot about Dawson. He was with Manny for a second and you know he wanted more fire & fighting off height w/ attack. Chad dumped him next fight out.
