Floyd probably earns more than Pacquiao, but it's not nearly as big a gap as the purses (20 mil vs. 6 mil) indicate. Pacquiao isn't making 6 million, he's making around 20.

Given all the personal issues between the 2 sides, both guys are smart enough to know that the only way a deal can be reached is if it's 50/50. If Floyd is demanding more than 50%, then he's basically saying he's not interested in making the fight.

Floyd got 22.5 mill to fight Mosley and Pacquiao got 6 mill. Both Pac and Floyd are big names but why such a big difference?

I'd be quite confident that the extra 16 million went to Arum.
