I don't know whether I should post this on here or the Bad taste thread, but I was surprised to see that after the cold related deaths in Europe, the Daily Mirror in a badly judged tribute to 1970's deserts, a pun happy headline writer had come up with the less than sensitive classic

Well I was surprised to read that apparently a huge part of europe is having record lows and what not and dozens of people died in the ukraine and elsewhere. Reason I say surprised because a whole lot of places in the us are having record highs for this time of year, it was in the 60's here today, and that doesn't happen often...so I guess y'all ended up with all the cold this year

I was about to say, it is lovely here in South Dakota. Normally, at this time of the year, it's absolutely miserable. But we're warm. It's great.

We actually had a very mild winter and thought we were over the worst of the winter, then this comes. I miss the sun, I would rather be too hot than too cold.

Seems that we are neighbors, too, me being in Montana. At the moment I am in Illinois.In getting here I crossed North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and the only place that had snow was Fargo,ND. No winter any place this year.

I put pictures of my house on here a while back to, so you can probably work out where I live.

There are not that many pubs in Plymouth that have been turned into single dwellings!
