Well I was surprised to read that apparently a huge part of europe is having record lows and what not and dozens of people died in the ukraine and elsewhere. Reason I say surprised because a whole lot of places in the us are having record highs for this time of year, it was in the 60's here today, and that doesn't happen often...so I guess y'all ended up with all the cold this year

I was about to say, it is lovely here in South Dakota. Normally, at this time of the year, it's absolutely miserable. But we're warm. It's great.

Cold here too. It was -16'C last night. The snow has turned to ice and the other day I witnessed a car do a 360' turn on ice. I drove home at 30km an hour after that and it took me hours. I don't know how I made it back alive. Never again.

Seems that we are neighbors, too, me being in Montana. At the moment I am in Illinois.In getting here I crossed North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and the only place that had snow was Fargo,ND. No winter any place this year.
