When I clicked on this thread, I assumed it was going to be about fighting Nikolay Valuev, cause he is definitely ugly! (bedum-tish)
However, I really dislike the standoff counter style fighters like Junior Witter and I agree with Paul McCloskey being ugly to watch too. Fighting ugly isn't necessarily fighting unsuccessfully though, as some of the best champions are those that have become really good at fighting ugly. Step forward Mr Bernard Hopkins for this award.

Why would you start a thread with the title fighting Kid Thunder

It's strange I have seen Hopkins, fight ugly on many occasion's but I have seen him box really well on
some occasion's as well. Can you think of a other fighter's that have done this.!

The late Vernon Forrest fought ugly when he beat Shane Mosley the second time, holding and subduing Shane all the time. The tactic worked and he won an ugly fight. Bonecrusher made a horrible fight against Bruno and Tyson but fought well against Holmes and when he ko’ed Witherspoon. Ricky Hatton fought ugly against Urango the second of the fight but the first 6 rounds he was flawless.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

I normally quite like Matt Skelton's fighting style, he's entertaining, if not particularly technical. However, the way he tried to jab and move past Danny Williams in their rematch was ugly as f**k.
