One of my girl friends back in my college days had enormous boobs, even when she was in high school. She told me this sad story about not being allowed on the girls HS swimming team because her breasts were too big. They would have created 'drag' and slowed down her swimming times in competition.

As for bowling, it's a lot of fun, I havn't done it in years, I used to have a good average.

I gotta agree with ruthless rocco, i've always been more of a lover then a fighter. Actually getting in fights (unless you have to) has always seemed stupid to me.

I boxed for a bit then got promoted at work so when I was the most into it I chose the logical path of working/reality over the dream. But I've been close to getting back into it.

I started boxing when i was around 15. I sparred and trained for a bout a year. When the coach finally made me a watch up i weighed in around 119. later i was told the guy i was going to face never showed up so my fight was cancelled. im 17 now and I stopped boxing because no longer had a ride to the gym but i hope on going soon again when i buy a car.

because it took me two years to realise I was shit. However, honestly, the last straw was getting hit flush in the nose by a southpaw (took two years to happen) and realising I was too pretty to box and end up with a bent nose never went back after that day..

Always loved boxing more but for some reason ended being a kickboxer, being lanky and 6 ft I found that I had really good kicks. Now after 15 years of fighting and aged 32 my legs have started to burn out over the years and I have had to develop my fighting style into more hands. I keep think about giving boxing a go but never have the time cus of kickboxing.Alot of the pad work and training we do is the same anyway.

    Too late.

Earlier on I had spent some time in Tae Kwon Do, but eventually figured out it wasn't really my thing.
By the time I discovered that I was interested in boxing, it was far too late in life for me to get any good at it. (I was about 30 or 31)

Well, I consider myself lucky, because I have been boxing.

But unfortunately, I never got the chance to end up in the Amateur or Professional competitions. The last boxing gym in my city closed down a while ago, and that ended all of my hopes for now. But I still box on the streets, taking on anybody that's willing to lace up the gloves with me.

So, for the last five years, I've had 125 fights. Rarely against good competition. Lost most of my fights early on, and haven't lost since September of 2009. My record is 97-22-6 with 73 knockouts/technical knockouts.

I'm only seventeen. I'm very wise for my experiences, and I plan on continuing boxing. I'm probably going to be stepping into the ring when I'm 18.

I've loved boxing ever since I became oddly obsessed with it. You get to a certain point when you fight, that when you get hit, it oddly feels good.

It's a sweet science. My main priority has always been defense and counterpunching, and because of it, I've only had three concussions. I'm mentally a little bit slower, but still sharp and smart.

I have three loves. 1. Boxing 2. The English Language and 3. Humor.

And I'll remain devoted to all three of those loves until the day I die, no doubt.

I seriously believed I could have been a contender but parents wanted me to concentrate on my education and I was scared of getting my nose broken. I did go to a gym and train and had natural talent but not the desire, dedication and need to do it. I may have made more money than I do now but may not have had the health and faculties to spend it.

    Karate Kid the movie.

I'd be about 7 when that came out and although all my family were boxers I insisted on doing that instead. I hated it and only stuck at it because my Dad promised me £100 if I got my black belt. I quit the day after I achieved it.

By the time I realised I should've done boxing I was a teenager and cared more for girls and getting off my face. Plus if I'm honest I was too scared/wise to walk into the gym by then.
