Floyd is a jackass but it's obviously at least partly true here. And there's nothing wrong with it. There's a novelty factor because there aren't a ton of Asian dudes from Harvard in the NBA.
I actually think it's because of the underdog cinderella story not the whole racial thing. Now don't get me wrong the racial thing plays a minor part but more of the Cinderella story is the main story. Ever heard of the Kurt Warner craze in 1999? So was it because Warner was white or that Warner was the underdog that people love?

I think Floyd needs to shut the fuck up about other athletes from other sports that doesn't concern him. He's got his beef with Pacquiao but that's within his sport. Lin is an NBA athlete, people dont' need to hear his "expert" opinions on other athletes from different sports.

Maybe next we can hear Mayweather's expert analysis on the Peyton Manning situation.
