Floyd Mayweather says New York Knicks' Jeremy Lin in spotlight for race, not play - ESPN New York
Says NBA's newest sensation Jeremy Lin is receiving hype because of race and not ability, you know like what he said about Pacquiao.

Who cares. Everyone knows the guy is a prick. He is an up him self, wife beating, racist. The only thing in life he really has going for him is he is a good boxer and hes rich. When he is retired Lets see if that is enough for him to actually be happy. My guess is no.
Saying that Mike tyson is a prick but everyone seems to like him now. So who knows.
I actually think it's because of the underdog cinderella story not the whole racial thing. Now don't get me wrong the racial thing plays a minor part but more of the Cinderella story is the main story. Ever heard of the Kurt Warner craze in 1999? So was it because Warner was white or that Warner was the underdog that people love?
I think Floyd needs to shut the fuck up about other athletes from other sports that doesn't concern him. He's got his beef with Pacquiao but that's within his sport. Lin is an NBA athlete, people dont' need to hear his "expert" opinions on other athletes from different sports.
Maybe next we can hear Mayweather's expert analysis on the Peyton Manning situation.

Don't think lins race got anything to do with him gettin the covarage he is, but everything to do with that he was in the d league, plaed at harvard and put up better numbers in his five starts than the greatest players ever....think be same thing if it was a white, black or mexican dude
I think the Lin story is big because he played at Harvard, not because he's Asian. I mean how many basketball players that play for Harvard are any good?
Floyd has a big chip on his shoulder about race.
A person's race shouldn't make a difference to anything but sadly it does and it's a very sensitive subject. Almost everything can be taken as racism and Floyd gets involved in it too often.
He Who Is Brave Is Free
Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
Not sure if we can say Floyd is racist when he trusts Mexicans in his team, has the big Mexican flag in his ring, etc. Doesn’t he have whites in his team as well? He does say things that sometimes are simply out of place of course.
He's black. wadaya gonna do.. pure ignorance.. SMH
btw, name one black NBA player who graduated from Harvard... better yet, name one black player who graduated from a real University without some fake basketball scholarship.. lol ok then...
