    is PW declining? Probably.
But Ishida wasn't known as a puncher prior to the Kirkland fight. And PW's kryptonite has been southpaws: Quintana, Martinez, Lara!!!! Ishida isn't a southpaw.

I think PW has enough left to win this fight, but wouldn't be shocked if he lost.

All things considered this is a good crossroads match and while you gotta be careful not to root for the underdog for the sake of doing so, I will not be shocked at all to see Ishida pepper the hell out of a one step behind Williams for that 12 round win.

That's possible, I noticed at the weigh-in that Ishida is nearly as tall as Williams, so Williams won't have his usual height advantage. The thing is, Ishida's win over Kirkland aside, he doesn't have much power and P-Will has a decent chin, so if Ishida wins it would likely be by decision. After seeing Williams win that shit decision over Lara in his last fight, i'd love to see Ishida find lightening in a bottle again, and knock him out.

Yo Capt, where you been lately bro? Good to see you.

BTW, I believe Williams wins tonight, but i'll be pulling for the Jap. (I was born there )

I like Cloud, he's a monster. Williams is still getting doubters. I got Williams
    in a shutout.

As a reminder to those of you who are watching the fights on Showtime. The main card with Williams/Ishida & Cloud/Campillo fights are on regular Showtime, and the network is starting something new by showing some of the other undercard fights on Showtime Extreme. So the Arreola/Molina fight, and another fight will be on Showtime Extreme starting at 8:00 ET.
That's in about 30 minutes, thanks Diane.

Yeh thats the only way I see it could go, dec to him. If Williams is off that aggresive step and not pressing with volume ala the Phillips fight (great body work) Ishida has some good hands and shifty in there and might suprise. He is very live. I dont think you really have to hit the last version of Paul hard to beat him...just hit often. I watched his 4 fights prior to Kirkland win and dude is quick, flashy...almost too much at times... and despite low ko percentage he can fight and has some slicing type shots. That Alvarez loss was a bad call to me. It'll be up to Williams to have zero respect for him early on and hope his face holds up while trying to break that body in half. Lots of scenarios and maybe I'll look a total fool, wouldnt be the first time but pulling for the Ishida win, think its def there.

    Ok shutting up now

Arreola looks in good shape for him. He lost his back boobs.

I don't think it's a problem Diane, nice 1st round KO for Arreola, his man titties seem to be dwindling.

I just got my DIRECTV back working in time to see the fights tonight after having technical problems all afternoon, and being told it would take 4 days to be sent a new receiver by mail. After resetting the old receiver, and doing some things with the remote I got it back working.. so i'm happy now..

I've got several bottles of St. Pauli Girl taking up too much space in my 'fridge, time to move some of the inventory.

Not a bad little 6 rounder, looks like Lopez might come back to take this.

    .
One thing i've learned about myself during my 63 years of life, Armin, sometimes I'm wrong, (and I usually admit when I am) but my opinions are just as valid as anyone's else's on the planet, and more often than not, i'm right.

    cheers dude

Ah super, it's on! Thanks again Diane.

I'm hoping Williams can roll back a year or two and get things back on track here. He has fallen into habits recently and needs to do something about it.
