Do you need to eat an apple etc. to move your bowels?

As I got older I needed to eat an apple or at nıght ın order to completely evacuate the bowels next mornıng. Used to be I could eat a whole pızza pıe and some frıed chıcken at mıdnıght and next morn all would be fıne. Now I gotta make sure I drınk a few glasses of water and some fruıt at nıght.
