    Default Good amateur record

Hey everyone just wondered what people opinions were on a good amateur record. Whether it differs between countries. Alot of people say anything over 50% won is decent others say its more about how many fights you've had rather than how many you've won. Then some people say aslong as you're improving every fight thats all that matters. Would be good to hear people opinions.

i think you get better when you lose in my opinion, like if you had a losing streak you would improve so much on all the things you've been doing wrong, but if you were undefeated you might not see your weaknesses as easily
of course winning is still better for you but i mean for learning and getting better gotta lose a few
    just my opinion

Certainly agree with that, my record so far has gone lost, won, lost, won, lost, won, won. So im hoping to put a winning streak together now. I definitely improved more after the losses than after i won.

I think it's subjective. Emanuel Augustus was a good fighter. Floyd Mayweather to this day claims Augustus to be his hardest fight. The guys record is only 38-34-6.

    Subjective. It's the substance, really.
