force yourself to go in when properly spouting snot & bile until a) they force you to go home so you dont infect them b) it'll make you look keen c) next time you pull a sickie they will remember how rough you were last time & believe you.

They wouldnt ask me to leave thats the thing, Im occasionally coughing up some nasty shit but other than that I just look (to anyoe looking at me) half asleep.

I wouldnt ever take that gamble to be honest.

Never had one, but Missy has cracked it. I'd go in with the aim of getting sent home (not classed as calling in sick then!) and if I didn't at least I'd know I'd be able to infect which ever twats wouldn't send me home.

The last time I was seriously sick I vomited solid food through my nose (blew my nose in the bath an hour later and a fucking mushroom fell out!). I've never had a sick day and we have a skeleton staff so I didn't really want one. But I made it clear that unless I was doing nothing but sitting on my arse like a glorified receptionist wasn't coming in!

If you are genuinely sick then take your days off and feel no guilt. There is no use going in and infecting everyone else. That would be the selfish thing to do.

I never take sick days, but thankfully I have never needed to. I do all my sickness on vacation time.
