Very powerful video and message... so where does the money for the kits ago again as the US Army are already there protecting the kids i'm not quite sure what that kit money is used for.
maybe i'm a cynic but just have a feeling someone is capitalising on this plight with the kits instead of just making a printable jpeg of the poster for people to download and print to spread the word.![]()

I i asked my friend who told me about this and he gave me this link

I think it would be useful to start a thread with a breakdown of the issue rather than ask people to watch a 30 minute video on what could be anything. At least then you could make the case for whether to watch or not.

i was going to but i linked it on my phone. it is to raise awareness for the capture of Joseph Kony who started the LRA in Uganda and he adducts kids and uses the girls for sex slaves and the boys go into his arm. He is fighting for no cause basiclly just because he likes having power. He has been doing it for 26 years and no one has been paying attention to it.

This year, the invisible children came and talked to the school. Had a lady from Uganda tell us about how she saw some of her family members killed by Kony's army.
Yeah. Obama should have had this guy killed by now.

A facebook war has started against him....well now those Occupy nutjobs can see what their little flashmobs do to REALLY evil people.........it'll make him laugh and say "Aww how precious".
Perhaps I too am a cynic or maybe I am just pragmatic, but the assholes that argue AGAINST war and protest for peace and understanding and all that hippy "We can make the world perfect" bullshit don't seem to understand that it's a jungle out there and if you're not willing to FIGHT for a cause then someone will beat you. I'm willing to bet this Kony cat would fight to the death to keep doing what he's doing meanwhile the kids with all their good intentions are only willing to post bullshit on facebook....yeah that will REALLY help those kidsget a clue!
As for Obama...the Nobel PEACE Prize winning empty suit of a President. He knows there's no need to go fight in Uganda, there's nothing there of importance to his party's agenda, same with the Republicans too, I'm not demeaning either side on the issue. Fighting in Uganda offers us nothing...you've seen how the media has portrayed our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan....fighting in Uganda and Sudan may have started out as noble causes, but #1 There's no set goal #2 It is a waste of money and lives
You're absolutely spot on, mate. There's nothing we can do about this issue other than actual action. Like, buying from the invisible children and whatnot.
To be honest, I can't stand those that put up all the movements their in on facebook. If the main objective is to have a group of people whine collectively, you might as well off yourself.
