This fight makes perfect sense. They've sold a boatload of tickets and Kell Brook is getting good publicity.
However,
the actual contest is utter pony. That's why we're all giving it - "if Kell stops him we'll be impressed"
Hatton hasn't even got a dig to make it remotely interesting.
Exactly. This is not, as the OP says, "a great test for both of them." It's purely a test of whether and how quickly Brook can get the KO. He should be stepping up, not fighting a mediocre journeyman like Hatton.
