Im sure I have been ruder to someone in my life but that was the last time. I thought I was justified though.
That reminds me, years ago a relative of mine had recently moved into a trailer next to him, and he had a pit bull that was a bit wild. He had no fence or leash or anything to keep him from biting anyone. Although the dog wasn't necessarily the type to just run up and bite someone without warning, he would growl and bark menacingly at strangers (in other words, he was not friendly, BY ANY MEANS).
One day he (my relative) told him "Look, if that dog bites me, I'm going to kill that dog. And if he bites one of my children, I'm going to kill YOU." The very next day, the neighbor was outside putting up a fence.
