Relax first, then face up and control with that jab when its required and free up once again from there or move out again.
ITs easy to get stilted at first and stay in behind what has worked for you, like sitting in behind a jab and just turning .
good advice!!

and i dunno if this will work for you but it worked for me cos when i started boxing i was a bit of a school boy hard lad and when i stepped into the ring i was nothing compared to these really good amatuers but what i did was stayed healthy kept training and i found the more i watched good boxing bouts the more i loved boxing and understood it tactically, i remember one fight i watched was de la hoya -trinidad i thought de la hoya boxed amazing in that fight but apparently he lost??:S lol but since i understood boxing more i enjoy it more and i box better and dicipline myself to bieng a technically sound boxer
hope it helps??
