mate mass email sending and virus spamming won't be a problem for these guy... I get about 2 thousand+ emails a day to my email account and most of them have virus's attached to them.

All I do now is auto forward all my emails to a gmail account I set up and they sort them all out automatically and I just download the good ones to my email program.

and about once a day I will log on to gmail and scan the spam folder to make sure it didn't filter a good email and one click deletes the lot.

The only way to catch these fuckers is to report the websites they try to make you go to to the police.

    Hello Andre,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Customer Service.
As a Customer Service Representative, I am here to assist you in finding the right place to get help and proper assistance with your questions and provide resources to resolve your concern.
I appreciate your time taking this email to us.

Cybercriminals often use publicly available phone directories so they might know your name and other personal information when they call you. They might even guess what operating system you're using.

Once they've gained your trust, they might ask for your user name and password or ask you to go to a website to install software that will let them access your computer to fix it. Once you do this, your computer and your personal information is vulnerable.

For North America, you may report this incident to the Federal Trade Commission and to your Attorney General.

To report it to the Federal Trade Commission, please fill up the form below:

To see the list of Attorney Generals, please check the link below:

The following site provides information and additional guidance on how to avoid technical support phone scams: http://www.microsoft.com/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx

If you have already fallen victim to a scam, and feel that your computer's security may already be compromised, Microsoft provides a free security scanner that you can use to help identify and remove malicious software. It can be downloaded from the following site: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

I hope you find this information helpful. If you have any additional questions please reply to this email and we will be happy to assist you.

    Thank you,

I actually re-booted the computer to its original settings, could not find the recovery disk. Really annoying but I was not going to pay these guys for something they probably put on my system and I can do myself. I have down loaded the links you gave me as well and all seems well for the time being.

This is the equivalent of a window company telling local kids to smash windows and picking up the business that they have caused.
