amazingly enough although not the greatest southpaw Moorer has to go down as one of the best, he was an amazing fighter before moving up to HW
Moorer was a vicious puncher at light heavy but did not challenge the best fighters at that weight to be considrede amazing.

    Segio Martinez has done better.

If I'm not mistaken, I could swear I've seen Mike Tyson fight southpaw in one of his earlier fights. (Not sure how he faired as a southpaw and I'm not even one hundred percent positive I've actually seen him fight left-handed).

He use to finish off his opponents sometimes in a southpaw stance like against Holmes. Someone said he was left handed but do not know if that is true.

Fighters not mentioned would be Michael Nunn, Joel Casamayor, Chris Byrd and I believe Carmen Basillio was a southpaw.

What about Vincente Saldivar? Still put Hagler and maybe Manny above though.

Have to go Pernell off the top. Def Saldivar. Theres boat loads that were quality. Personal favs had to be Yoko Gushiken, Mark f'kn Johnson. Marvin Johnson, not the best by far but you'll find no bigger heart. Camacho Hill and J Watanabe were not too shabby.

Slim pickings at southpaw if Chris Byrd has to be on this list.
