Sneak Peek of Cotto/Mayweather Face Off

HBO released a teaser of the Cotto/Mayweather Face Off episode.

Kind of boring if you ask me. Weird seeing Floyd being civil.

It reminds me of Hokpins vs De La Hoya. B hop was so polite during the press conference and later on he said he just did not want an angry golden boy in the ring, it could be that or the fact he's going to jail in summer or, or he respects cotto, or..well what I guess im trying to say is that I'm purely guessing here :P

Hard to be a jack@$$ to someone who second language is English, ... is giving you an opportunity for a title as you move up and should be unranked... and has in the eyes of most already had everything taken from him with a pair of plaster wraps. Can't up stage that with dumb nicknames, bragging and intimidation tactics (like choking) . Especially considering how pac and floyd both been through everyone at 147 already and the pickings are slim.

I think Floyd isn't talking so much trash is because Cotto is a household name. The casual fan will buy this fight off name alone. Floyd knows when he has to talk up a big fight.

Only Pac can do that to PBF as of the moment and I can understand why PBF's not fighting the Pacman.

I will be watching this fight though and see if my wish is granted. Cotto should go for the kill. If he hesitates, he loses this fight. He should fight without any respect to the "coward of all time".

I think your hopes for Cotto might be too high. I cant see him troubling Mayweather at all. Mayweather has the speed, the power, a better technique by far and better stamina. What do you think Cotto brings to the table that will bother Floyd.

Mostly his power. But I also feel that he is very smart as a fighter and has very good timing. Plus the fact that Floyd hasn't really been moving around so much in his last fights so if he's gonna go toe to toe with Cotto, it won't be so easy. I feel he's actually gonna come in there and try to box mayweather and throw good flurries when the opportunities are there. That would be the smarter move I mean people always try to go all out and fail so im sure they won't try that. Plus he's young and seems more confident then ever.

Well I hope you guys are right because there is nothing I would like more than to see Floyd lose or even struggle but I just cant see Cotto posing the slightest thret. Lets hope im wrong on the night.

With a proper trainer, Cotto can sure cause some problems to PBF and I believe that a power house like the Cuban mastermind might just be the man for the task. Not saying he'll win but I am pretty sure that it won't be a one loopsided boring UD.
