Cats aren't for me personally. A dog sits on your lap because he loves you, a cat sits on your lap because he's cold!

We've got a 4 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Trevor and he's pretty awesome. My girlfriend was so anti Staffy (as a lot of people are) but I knew once we'd got one she'd realise that you shouldn't believe all the media hype. She loves him to bits as he's the most loving dog you could ever wish to meet.

I'm not sure what breed of dog has a similar bad rep Stateside? a Pitbull maybe? A dog's nature is a reflection of it's owner, breed is irrelevant.

Staffordshire Terriers have bad reputations in the states, they get lumped in with the Pit Bulls, Bull Terriers, and American Bulldogs.

I've never met a mean or dangerous "vicious breed" dog. They have bad reputations but it doesn't mean the stereotype isn't called for. Loads of these dogs were bred to be aggressive and some of them just are big and a little too energetic. All of the "vicious breed" dogs I've met have been extremely sweet dogs.

This is true, I had a staffy years back, she was the most loyal loving dog ya could have!

Reason the dog's are vicious is simply down to the owners making them that way.

I hear more shit said about breeds of dog's,it's not the dog my friends its the pricks that own them
and there are plenty of them about.
If your dog is a man biter, put it down regardless of what breed it is Bull breeds are not for ever one
remember you own it you control it.
Regarding when you get bit it fuck in hurts, you never take into account what breed it is the dog is out
of control, them famous last words don't worry he wont bite as there dog sinks his teeth into your leg
and there other line he's never done that before.
