whats alton towers ?

Theme park I think. Only way I know this is because they have Gay days. Ok, that didn't sound good. But I heard about it on Leno and then came across it in the news here in the states but didn't elaborate as to what Alton Towers was. Then they mentioned the gay days and it triggered Jay Leno and I figured it was a theme park. Although I've never heard of a wedding at a theme park so I could be completely wrong.
