Oh I don't disagree. JMM is definitely a bigger name, I just think Rios vs. Abril will be a better fight because Fedchenko is not strong enough to stand in there with Marquez.

To tell you the truth, i'm just not all that interested in JMM's fights anymore, and I really don't care about watching his fight with Fedchenko.
Rios is a little prick, but his fights can be entertaining, Rios vs Abril will be the first fight up on an HBO PPV double header. Unless i'm feeling particularly energetic Saturday night, April 16th, i'll likely turn off the shitty stream i'll be getting, right after the Rios fight.
You could be so right there. Honestly, I haven't seen Abril fight, I was just assuming he had a long amature career because of his age and low number of pro fights being from Cuba. It's not uncommon for Cuban defectors to have 200-300 amature fights. I don't know if Abril is a defector or fights out of Cuba.
If John Murray could not dent Rios then very few fighters can. Rios reminds me of a playground bully starving himself to beat up smaller people. If I was his opponent I would be throwing body punches all night. That would weaken Rios for the taking, I bet JMM could do it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
common thing these days. Rios should be at 140 at the least. Chavez Jr. weighs 180 pounds in the ring after weighing in at 160. There should be some sort of limit to how much weight a fighter can put on if they are going to continue to have the weigh ins around 30 hrs before the fight.
