Yeah! It was a while back on the Discovery channel about a "Chinese man" who punch steel 1000 times a day. I'm not sure also... perhaps he is called " Iron Tiger, Iron fist..Iron Claws" Not sure! I goggle his name nothing show up but this site. He is one of the Shaolin master and a Chinese War Hero retired somewhere in Canada. If anyone know who this guy is please tell me... Thanks!

Yeah you got mild tempered forged steel with flex that you cant break, and cast iron that snaps like a tile.
Then every temper you can imagine in between.
Those Shaolin monks sure have to crack themselves over the head with those metal bars a number of times until they break though maybe they are shit at forging the right temper and too thick headed to realize.

years ago, in a martial arts supply shop, I found a book on how to train yourself to snatch somebody's heart out of their chest. Of course, I bought it.
It advised filling a pail with a couple inches of sand, thrusting your hand into it- fingers extended, trying to 'grab' the bottom of the pail. When you could do it, add more sand, until the pail was full. Then start using gravel. And so on.
