Your hand can feel numb, dead from punching.
In a short period of time giving heavy blows to a head.

Numbness can make you hit harder as your senses/nerves are dead, there is no pain or feeling.
Numbness you feel no pain or sensation, being asleep you can not move that body part, huge difference.

And that is only in a few minutes exercise/fighting.
No idea what they would feel like after 12 3minute rounds.

Never seen a fighter unable to move there arms during a fight, lots of adrenaline, testosterone pumping through the body, any affects of fatigue would be felt more after the fight has finished.
^Apart from when they are unconscious or stunned.

I am a heavy sleeper and can sometimes wake up with a dead arm, no way I can move that arm, let alone punch or grasp anything in my hand, I use the other arm to wake up the dead arm by forcing it to move, takes 2-5 minutes.

Their hands or arms will not fall asleep from fatigue, only be immobilised through injury.
    Torn muscle, disconnected from shoulder.

You could elbow them in the bicepe to make this happen to someone.

This should never happen if wraps are used correctly, too tight, any discomfit from wraps means they are restricting blood flow.

Also your fist should never be tensed(squeezed) during boxing only in the split second when you fist makes contact with the target.

Wrong, when a muscle goes numb you cant tense it. To punch as hard as you can with a limp fist would be stupid.

Most of the time you arent tensing as hard as you can with your fist. You arent even making a proper fist inside the wraps and gloves, more like an action man grip hand.

Your fist/hand can be numb, have no feeling.

Your forearm which contracts the muscles/tendons in the hand still works.
In a fight you are not continuously contracting, relaxing with much force to cause your forearm to fall asleep.

You can certainly hit with numb hands, because the muscles in the hands are not doing the work.

    Ok then...

Iv damaged my right hand before and it went numb, I couldnt tense it and I couldnt hit a bag with it. I rested it and tried it gently every now and then and as soon as any pressure hit it, it would fuck up again and I could put absolutely no force in it with out fucking up my wrist as well. Believe what you want. I know

If it happens during a fight, you finish the fight.

Same with kicks, your foot can go numb, but you can still kick.
After the fight is finished who knows how you will feel.

Believed the question to be do a boxers hands fall asleep during a fight.
I do not think this is the case.
However you hit something hard enough your knuckles/hand will go numb, this is the case even with gloves.

Not every case of numbness or injury is the same.
If you injured your hand you can not say it is the same with every individual on the planet.

I've had my hands wrapped and in gloves and after a workout the knuckles are swollen to the point that when I open and close my fist it sounded creaky like bits of leather being stretched out and contorted. I've also landed hooks wrong on the heavybag (from fatigue) and jammed my wrists, but hey it's an impact sport these things happen. Football, Baseball, & Basketball players get jammed fingers & wrists from catching the ball or landing awkwardly....you just have to fight through it.

True but for boxers hurting their hands is far more serious. Just imagine how good Galzhaghe would have been if his hands were not so messed up.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
