Katsidis/Mensah anyone?

95 all on my card, Mensah took the last round. Kats has more heart that almost anyone else in pro boxing.

On rounds 6-4Mensah, clearly landed the bigger shots and you could argue a 10-8 in either 9 or 10 ?

win or lose, Katsidis is always worth tuning in for. Gotta give Mensah a lot of credit, he fought a very smart fight and he should do well against lower volume types.

Katsidis averaged 114 punches a round.

98-92 seems a little wide.

Maybe the correct result, that one card was well dodgy though.

It's a shame for Katsidis, but I think that should be it for him. Hopefully he has invested well and is set up for life after boxing. He was never supposed to have a long career.

He's of the same cloth as Gatti and Vazquez IMO. Not a long career style, but by far the most entertaining.

Damn DVR recording ended halfway thru the 9th, but I had Katsidis up by a point. Close fight, Mensah counter punched well, looked clean, but I liked the heart and pressure of Katsidis. And the body attack. Not once did I see Mensah hurt or rock Katsidis, saw Kats buzz him a couple times.

I missed the last 1 1/2 rounds though.

Mine did the same but for the last round so did not know the result until I read this thread. Bloody ESPN America has too much baseball which went ran over into my boxing recording time.
