That was scary, I thought Taylor might be done after the KD in the 9th round.

Stupid fight. Dull for the large part and Taylor winning but showing the same weaknesses and clinching like a homo for most of the second half of the fight. He should have been warned and docked. I wanted Taylor to win, but I thought he looked like crap in the end.

Haha, got up and did his thing? Deluded.

He got up and clinched like the second coming of Ruiz.

Jesus, the guy is raving. Just talk man, stop shouting all over the place. He's like me after 9 pints.

Taylor wins a UD, but he can't feel too good about getting decked again in a fight. This fight does nothing to make me think that Taylor should continue fighting.

Jermain is sounding a bit looney in the post fight interview, lmfao.

Didn't get to see the fights tonight but I hope Lara was a impressive as you all are saying. I really want this guy to at least get a couple of well deserved premium paydays but of course he'll now be considered too risky.

He might get stuck fighting Molina again

I still haven't even watched their first fight, or least don't remember it, it seems like it would be an eyesore.

Taylor still has pretty effective tools, but it's that chin. It just isn't there. Sure he got up and finished the fight, but he should have been docked for all the clinching. It was complete survival mode against someone who isn't a puncher and throws 30 punches a round. It was a bit sad to see in the end. Taylor has no shot beating an elite fighter in the division with that Achilles heel. He simply cannot take a punch.

The post fight interview was hilarious, but you have to look at Taylor and worry. Toney is messed up in the head, but at least he can defend himself and nobody is going to stop him. Taylor looks ready to go at any point after round 7 in all of his fights.

Funny, before the KD in the 9th round I kept thinking that Taylor might get caught with something big and KTFO, then boom, it damn near happened, I was surprised that Taylor got back up.

It seemed like a form of early "dementia" the way Taylor was ranting/raving in the post fight interview, or maybe it was just because his IQ isn't much above that of a potato.

Taylor could compete with good fighters at 160. He might even be winning the fight, but he is going to get stopped late. It is that simple.

And why has no one ever taught him how to keep his left hand up. AFter he throws a punch, Taylor comes back with his left hand low. And even when he is just in a stance he has his left hand in a position where he isn't going to block/partially block good right hands.

I believe the consensus was that the first fight on FNF was boring. I'll admit it was my first time seeing Eleider Alvarez, but he surely impressed me. For me, it was worth just seeing Alvarez in action.

Lara showed some serious power, he basically just walked right through Hearns, it was like man against boy.
I don't believe Paul Williams would want any part of Lara now, that's for sure.

Unfortunately for Taylor, if a light puncher in Caleb Truax can put him down, a better light-punching middleweight will end his career.

Yeah, and he could end up like his namesake Meldrick.

The thing is Jermain doesn't need the money, he's made more money from boxing then he'll ever know what to do with. So why does he continue fighting, his love of boxing or glory? I think he's just a crazy ass, delusional fool, who's taken too many shots upside the head, and doesn't know when to quit.

He's a pro boxer it's safe bet he's blown his savings.
