Tough to say really, the styles are so different here.. All the Ponce fights tell us is that Lopez hit harder than Broner, well duh. In hindsight, who knows whether Lopez caught him cold or would've struggled had Ponce weathered the storm.. Lopez is purely an offensive fighter, he practically can not defend himself. Broner is indeed a turd, but, his defence is impressive and he is improving. The two men are night and day, the only thing they have in common is being fucking delusional.
Also, Salido is a very physical fighter and I don't see him having much success jumping up in weight at all. I feel that Lopez' style really showcased him as a fighter, he was lucky that Juanma didn't have a couple of brain cells he could rub together imo.

I love when guys try to compare how one fighters did vs common opponents... as if its the be all & end all

    example:

Lopez zapped DeLeon but Broner went the distance; and?

Who cares? Look how Hearns & Hagler handled Duran...

Just saying, its not an exact science

Sticking with my original thoughts. Broner beats them both. Definitely blitz' Lopez & schools & possibly stops Salido late!

I would pick him against either of them as well at this point, be surprised if Lopez really comes back strong at all. It is a pretty tough spot Salido is in right now, I can't think of anyone he'd be better off fighting than Broner Would like to see him have a nice run but the forecast is kinda bleak given his style, at least imo.

Yeah like Rantcatrat said, target the Caballero/ Garcia winner or John, but those aren't easy fights!

Barros & the Gonzalez/ Rojas winner are no walk in the park

Dib might be his best option at the weight

Probably get a nice payday to face Broner
