OK so Cloud looks past Campillo and you guys make a huge deal about it. Cloud has been dodged for YEARS by the top 175 fighters. Dawson, Hopkins, Pascal, etc have just refused to fight Cloud and its not because Cloud would be easy to outbox.

Another go with Shumenov to do the same would be nice

Campillo deserves a shot at another top guy
What Campillo deserved in the first place was an overturned decision and a non-corrupted fight.

Lyle, come on man, the reason Cloud lost isn't because he looked past Campillo. He lost because Campillo adjusted to his style after being knocked down twice in the first round. Maybe he avoided him in the past, but Pascal jumped at the chance to fight him after witnessing him lose against Campillo. Wack part of it is that Cloud is getting that pay day and the winner, Campillo, isn't. Cloud has a shot at redemption in that fight. Let's see if he can get it done. I'm looking forward to it.

I seem to remember you saying the same thing about Campillo...

At least he's got the Pascal fight coming up, really looking foreward to that one!

I'm excited about that fight as well, only that Campillo would still be a better opponent for Pascal and just as pleasing a clash of styles. I do expect to see Pascal in a bit of trouble early but he should pull away and beat Cloud up down the stretch. Tavoris is going to be another Jeff Lacy imo, there is no way he is around long at the top level way to one paced and slow.

I have nothing but love for Tavoris Cloud but at 30 years old given his size & fighting style I'll say he needs the big fights NOW. Unless Cloud can adopt a style similar to what Glen Johnson has then eventually Cloud will be out moved & out hustled and he may look closer to Jeff Lacy. That being said I think he has the power and skill to stop Pascal and Dawson it's just a matter of when he fights them.

Ismayl Sillakh is the future at 175 and I think he has the best style to fight any of the top guys out there right now. I do question his chin a bit, but with his style I think he'll be hard to catch clean.

If Cloud fought Sillakh right now I would probably have Sillakh winning

    Degale v Groves (not PPV)
    Fury v Price
    Fury v Chisora 2
    Froch v Kessler
    Macklin v Barker v Murray
    Ward v Bute

I,ve been impressed with Sillakh too, but the recent inactivity has been concerning...

Good to see him back this week, I doubt he has much trouble with 11-0 Grachev
