I don't know... A big, technically sound fighter with good power who could take Mosley's best shots would always trouble him. It would definitely be a bit closer and Mosley wouldn't be taking the beating he's taking now, but I don't know if he would have just walked over Alvarez at any time.

His defense isn't that good, more often than not he fights forgoing defensive responsibilities, and he fights in spots. I don’t know I think a guy who is not a KO boxer and is reliant on technique would give Canelo a spanking.

However he does have good hand speed, he goes to the body very well, he doesn't throw wide, decent stamina. He's a good guy and I think he can be a proper champ if he avoids John Molina or he does fight him, fight in Mexico or Texas and not in the east coast.
