Agreed. Pac makes far too many mistakes.

Exactly. Pac wouldnt ever of stood and delivered like that. He would get caught moving around erratically by a gun.

    Cotto fought bravely.

That is such a lame analysis. I believe that Mayweather hadn't stepped up and fought Pacquiao earlier because Pacquiao used to be less predictable. Every fighter says nearly the same think that the angles is what troubled them. Pacquiao is a southpaw not the same as Cotto so you can't really apply because "Pacquiao is less technically sound he's a less effective than Cotto against a pure boxer like Mayweather". In fact, because Pacquiao's fighting technique not traditional it makes him more difficult to fight.

Pacquiao leaves many more openings than Cotto and doesn't fight as measured a pace, also Floyd fought at Cotto's weight, I really don't see Pacquiao bullying Floyd to the ropes at 147 nor trying to push him around and be physical.

If you watched this fight and try to say it shows Pacquiao would beat Floyd, I look at the Marquez third fight and say that Floyd would massacre Pacquiao

    "To each his own"

I certainly don't think Pacquiao would smash Floyd either, but If Floyd used the same strategy against Pacquiao using the same applied skills set he did against Cotto, Pacquiao would certainly win on points applying the same Judging as Cotto just got.

Martinez would be massive against Floyd. He would look like what he is, a different weight.

And for anyone who says Floyd has a problem with jabs needs to check the stats!

In Floyd's last 7 fights before Cotto, his opponents have thrown a total of 1686 jabs, landing with just 204.

Ortiz threw over 30 jabs and landed 0.

In the last 3 rounds of the Del Hoya fight, he landed only landed 4 of 77 jabs on Floyd.
