Thats an easy one MMA striking or "Stand Up" utilizes legs, elbows, knees, fists, etc.... instead of one dimensional Boxing(punching only) perfect example of this is when "Iron Chin" Ray Mercer went in there with Remy Bonjasky, Bonjasky kept Mercer at a distance and Landed a Thai Kick to the side of the head ending the fight in about 15 sec... Soon as Mercer tasted that he decided he wanted no part....

You are sadly mistaken to think a Boxer would run over an MMA fighter in a cage...Now if you are talking about taking a MMA guy in putting him in a Boxing Ring and having them Box only then I would WholeHeartaly agree with you..
