I used to have alot of love for Margarito and his fighting style but the day he was caught with loaded wraps was the day i stopped supporting him.

His whole career is tainted now imo and his retirement is a good thing for the sport.

Resto and Lewis did jail time and were banned from boxing outside of a bar stool for Lewis.

Margaresto made millions off the same thing.

Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

I'm not so sure about Margarito cheating in every single one of his top fights.
Clottey admitted himself that he didn't believe Margarito had loaded wraps in their fight.
The power in Margarito's punches didn't indicate loaded wraps.

I tend to believe Clottey's word in their fight than fan speculation.

Margarito did taint his own career though in his attitude towards the situation, and of course the Mosley fight.

I never understood why people talked him to a heavy puncher, when previous to the Mosley incident, when he was never that.
So after getting caught during the Mosley incident, people inclined towards the thought," See, he's not knocking everyone out."
Heavy hands were never one his attributes before this incident.
After the incident though, it all makes sense.

I am not defending Margarito or his actions- to make it clear.

    he had loaded gloves.

never should have been allowed to fight again.

did he cheat in his fights before that? doesn't matter. He tried to cheat and if he had gotten through with loaded gloves he could have seriously injured mosley.

I wish the recent motorcycle news was Margarito paralyzed instead of PW (and I was not a big PW fan).

Marg was a very good fighter, really gave a good performance against Manny and nearly beat him with the body shot. He took a severe beating in that fight.

Yes, the Tijuana Tomato will be missed, kind of like a case of the clap or diarrhea.
