80% of the british people support the monarchy. The 20% who do not are just very loud and whiny.

carrying out a survey a short period before an extra bank holiday because of the monarchy is simply skewing the figures.

That's like asking people who are walking towards a conservative free ice-cream stand whether or not they like the conservatives. Although, in fairness, those posh boys would never have a free ice-cream stand.
