Granted I've never landed a time in the slammer and not planning on doing so, but for a tough guy like Floyd, didn't expect him to crack before the first month was over. House arrest? Dude's acting like he's terminally ill and in need of special medical attention. Go eat your jail food and be done with it, only got a little more than 2 months anyway.

I agree that celebs should get special treatment, but that depends on the occasion. Going to jail isn't one of them, not by a long shot. Mar, the guy is asking to be placed under house arrest. If he was asking for more time in the gym, more time outside of his cell, Chinese take out food, cable TV, then so be it. I guess he "deserves" it for being a celebrity. The entire point of them being placed in jail is to do time and be punished for breaking the law, if you start letting them out and putting them in house arrest just because they're celebrities then you're missing the point of why they're there in the first place. Not even hating on the guy, I can't praise him enough for footing the bill on Frazier's funeral or his other charity work. But let's be real here, does he or does he not deserve to remain in jail for the duration of his sentence?

A majority of people calling him a wimp probably wouldn't be able to make it a week locked in their room for 23 hours a day with no stimuli and don't understand the mental tole COMPLETE loneliness can do to someone.

He is most likely under protective custody, hence in isolation, for his own protection. He can request to go to general population or have his lawyer insist on that.

I know he had a tough early childhood. But he has made millions and could pay for the best therapists in the world to work through his issues.

Instead he followed plan b whereby he: ran around not paying taxes, beating up women, burning money, having a bromance with 50 cent, making racist statements, and now crying about being in solitary, bad food, and having to drink tap water.


He needs to man up and do the time.

It will end up being less than 87 days anyhow. Man up and do it.

House arrest would be no punishment at all. If he wants to mingle with the other cellmates, I don't see the problem as long as he realises the potential risks.

As for all the other stuff..he should just be treated the same as all other inmates. No worse, no better.
