what a night - long time since had a night out like Friday on the back of an England game in a tournament.

Hit the pub at 5 and rolled in around 4.30 after a curry at Headingley's finest establishment....The Rajput.

We looked poor at times but we created chances and came back when we all thought it was a lost cause.

Did Wellbeck mean it ? Basically I don't give a fuck, it went in. The end.

Their first to equalize was lucky enough with 4-5 lucky breaks in it to help it cross the line.

Lets beat the Ukranians and have a little bit of luck for once and avoid the Spaniards. Get to the semis and anything can happen (and we will have belief). Am not counting ny chickens though it will be a nother nervey night tomorrow I am sure.

And I echo Shearer's thoughts in the Sun today - how refreshing to see and England manager celebrating an England goal. Never saw that with Sven and Fabio. We need an Englishman at the helm from now on.

I didn't agree with Roy's appointment but he is growing on me.

Long may it continue. We're not good enough to win it without lady luck on our side - but she's long overdue
