That is a good way of getting out of doing any of the chores by deliberately doing them wrong. My wife does the same when she wants some decorating done by deliberating ripping the wall paper.

They never notice the little things you do around the place like peeing off those caked on bits that didnt flush.
You have to point these things out to them (while beaming at them lovingly) or they never know.
