I didn't advise him to stop because contrary to popular belief, if you're smart about ped use then you can actually enhance your health and lead a better, higher quality lifestyle. The media has demonised the stuff beyond belief. For example, testosterone and it's derivatives are used for people with wasting diseases. It's something we all have in our system naturally so how can it be bad?

Of course, some knuckleheads will always abuse the stuff and send the pendulum swinging the other direction so that it becomes totally unhealthy.

Larry isn't one of those knuckleheads. He has a degree in pharmaceutical chemistry and knows exactly what he is doing and what each thing does. I was never worried about him.

For the record, wrestlers never ever die because of steroids. Wrestlers get hooked on pain killers and recreational drugs. To make your money in wrestling you're on the road 4 days a week smashing your body to pieces every single night falling on your back. They take things to numb the pain etc I'd wager that steroids were never a direct result of any one wrestlers death. Heck, Hogan used to stick TONS of the stuff in his ass and he's still going strong.
