Ignoring them is usually the way to go mate. Sometimes a good long stare will do the trick and you just ease yourself out of the situation. Anyone can start a brawl over stuff like this, but as someone else has said you never know these days what people are carrying or what they're capable of. Do your thinking above the belt and avoid confrontation if possible, or move to quell it before it begins. If that's not possible and it is going to kick off anyway put him out of commission before he has a chance to stick a knife in you.

If you ever get bullied just hit on them, ask them out .
