I've never been that high on Paulie, but fights are like movies, I'll watch
anything. Lopez or Ortiz will wear Paulie down and win by decision, but this boxing and anything is possible; just ask Ortiz.

I think this would be a good fight for Lopez. In the past I've seen (and heard) of him fighting guys that move a lot. He uses his height well and punches hard to the body and wears them down. I'm a little concerned about the way he was punching the other night; I've seen him much tighter and more compact with his punches. My friend thinks it was because he was fighting a southpaw. I don't know.
He was throwing wide crazy right hands but his left hooks were generally tight. I think he was just trying to get a bigger man off his back and apparently he did. You are right though that he let his technique slip substantially last fight.

he was far from being a power puncher but Paulie's punches did seem to have a bit more pop in them last time out, IMO if he maintains his speed and movement it could be a pretty interesting fight, we at least know that if Lopez breaks Malignaggi's jaw that well Paulie's not gonna bitch out with only 3 rounds left in a fight he's clearly winning
