IMO Mathebula's taken the last 3 rounds, and sorry but Garcia always gives his fighter's the worst advice, "he's not doing anything" really? he's outpunching Donaire and landing some good shots

So heres the Ortiz situation..."something broke in Mathebulas face", spitting blood. His jaw is fucked here in 12th but he gets up off stool. Jeff needs this round huge
Another split decision coming.
Wow... big difference from Nevada Judges.
scores are a fucking joke
Donaire will get this call, deserved... but he must forget all that 5 plus division superman bullshit. He looked a bit flat and phat Fat that last half and cards were too generous.

Uh? no the other way around. There was one Judge from South Africa though. No way Donaire won that many rounds. Although Donaire was clearly the better fighter. Mathebula had won many rounds out working Donaire. Donaire didn't do enough to get the credit he got. The Judges didn't give Mathebula credit for his connects but rather they clearly gave credit to Donaire for his aggression.
Agreed. My bad mate, Killians Red has seen fit to put its boot in my arse tonight. Good points. Donaire has the punch and effect but he has of late sold himself short, loading up and taking short cuts. He intends to go up and wont always have the time-room to adjust to bad habits. Mathebula really took some rounds tonight.
The scores were way too wide. They did a disservice to Mathebula, who deserved better. I would cut Nonito some slack also. He didn't abandon his boxing skills. He was trying to figure out a way into Mathebula all night, which ain't easy. It's not like Mathebula was just standing there inviting Nonito to come in. Nonito ate a lot of shots, and a lot of the lunging was necessary just to try to connect. Kellerman did nail it on the head (or was it Roy?) about Nonito not jabbing enough. When Nonito started jabbing he had better luck connecting combinations.
