It's not just his chin though, the guy reaches and leaves himself open all day and his instincts are terrible in general. I couldn't believe he didn't at the least try and hold on once he was tagged, instead he engaged even more and tried to slip punches with no legs under him. He flat out can not fight.

If you get caught with bombs you go, its not a glass chin. Look at the shot he takes 55secs into round 4, it cracked right there and MASSIVE and he didnt go down. Have a look at it. His chin is not glass. If you get caught clean and big you can go, its the same for pretty much everyone. These are big shots.

And yet I'm thinking about a comment I think Emmanuel said about the very first knockdown. Something about had it been a couple of inches forward, instead of at the ear/neck area..... the fight would've been over immediately. And I think he's right. Also, Garcia himself took some good right hands in the first round and weathered them quite well. No... I think Khan has shown, even in other fights, that he's more susceptible than most to power shots.

And that's one thing that makes his fights interesting. He has good power, so he can end a fight on his end as well, but if he gets his bell rung, it's on! He has no clue on how to hold on at that point, so he tries to fight his way out.

I think Khan has two fight options now:

    Mckloskey or Prescott.

He needs to realise a style that suits his skills. He needs to stop trying to be Manny and needs to try emulate a style that would suit him, probably a style like Floyd.

Dont get me wrong im not saying he has a good chin. But its not glass. You dont go 12 with Maidana if your chin is made of glass. Or take the shots he did in this Garcia fight without being knocked spark out cold. I dont know he took that shot 55secs into round 4, thats not a china chin. It would just be nice if credit could go to Garcia, most fighters would have been stopped tonight if they took these shots

garcia is good but not quick and if he faces someone with a good defence he could struggle and he has shown that in the past but he does win and he can punch.
they were talking about khan moving up in weight but surely if he's getting put on his ass at this weight then moving up with the extra power these guys hit with might be a mistake.

Garcia's the real deal, no doubt about that. Deserves a lot of credit. He looked so-o-o slow against Khan, though. And he did get tagged early by right hands. So his chin seems ok. Khan has good speed and skills. But any fighter he faces with decent power is going to have a better than average chance of catching Khan with something, and... given Khan's inability to survive when in trouble, that "something" could very well end the fight.

I agree he was crawling round the ring at times it was embarrassing for him, even though he looked sharp going forward he wasn't hurting garcia and garcia was given hope by the fact khan was in punching range and taking big shots on his arms, it was just a matter of time before he got tagged and we all know he gets hurt and his legs go like in 3 of his last 4 fights.

where does khan go now, a fight with kell brook would be good but brook showed that he's flawed last week too and although he won he nearly got knocked out, and would brook want to fight khan knowing if he loses he probably won't get a big money fight in the states, freddie roach might let khan go now because he's not the fighter he hoped he would be and just concentrate on manny getting his titles back that he was robbed of.
