Where does he go from here if he loses tonight? and where does that put Garcia?

I think it's really unlikely Khan loses, but either way the winner is in about the same standing, there's not much at 140 anymore aside from Matthyse. He would give Khan a great test imo, just think it's a longshot to come off. I'd be surprised if Khan doesnt move up for his next fight assuming things go well for him tonight, if Pacquiao doesn't rematch Bradley then Khan should try and land that of course.
well I'm bringing it up because there's already talk that if Khan wins he might be in line for a fight against Mayweather, so if Garcia pulls off the upset what happens to him and where does Khan fall, IMO there is more at 140 then just Matthyse, there's still Marquez, Rios, Peterson, and Alvarez
Yeah for sure, I meant assuming Khan wins there isn't much at 140, but I haven't heard anything regarding whether Marquez is still likely to fight Pac again or not. If that doesn't happen I'd still love to see him against Khan, but I don't care to see Rios or Peterson get big fights immediately. If Mayweather fights Khan I'd also be really dissapointed, that's a cakewalk for Floyd imo but it would make some sense after the jail time.
He won't.
After the way Garcia struggled with an old Erik Morales I highly doubt he will be able to hang with a prime dynamic Amir Khan.
But, Lamont Peterson made a hell of a fight out of it so if Danny takes to him he could possibly do the same.
I see Khan by stoppage in the later rounds.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
there goes Khan/Mayweather, Garcia pulls off the upset and big
Wow great performance by Garcia! I did not see this happening
Was in the middle of responding to another thread when the fight started. Khan for all his gifts physically is mentally inept.
Not only did Khan lose to Garcia. He showed his one huge liability..... his glass jaw. He's fast... he boxes well... he has adequate punching power. But touch that button, and he goes all "Zab Judah" (vs Kostya Tszyu) on you. Don't see much in his boxing future. At the very least he needs to quit calling out people like Mayweather.
It's not just his chin though, the guy reaches and leaves himself open all day and his instincts are terrible in general. I couldn't believe he didn't at the least try and hold on once he was tagged, instead he engaged even more and tried to slip punches with no legs under him. He flat out can not fight.
If you get caught with bombs you go, its not a glass chin. Look at the shot he takes 55secs into round 4, it cracked right there and MASSIVE and he didnt go down. Have a look at it. His chin is not glass. If you get caught clean and big you can go, its the same for pretty much everyone. These are big shots.

I agree he was crawling round the ring at times it was embarrassing for him, even though he looked sharp going forward he wasn't hurting garcia and garcia was given hope by the fact khan was in punching range and taking big shots on his arms, it was just a matter of time before he got tagged and we all know he gets hurt and his legs go like in 3 of his last 4 fights.
And yet I'm thinking about a comment I think Emmanuel said about the very first knockdown. Something about had it been a couple of inches forward, instead of at the ear/neck area..... the fight would've been over immediately. And I think he's right. Also, Garcia himself took some good right hands in the first round and weathered them quite well. No... I think Khan has shown, even in other fights, that he's more susceptible than most to power shots.
