I will definitely be watching as much of the coverage as possible on TV, as I usually do.

I don't like all sporting events equally, but will usually watch whatever is available at the time I'm also available to watch. Puerto Rico has not done very well at in the summer Olympics, but this year we have our hopes set on 400-meter hurdler Javier Culson, who hopefully can bring us our first gold medal at one of these games.

Regardless, I plan to thoroughly enjoy these games... and look forward to more than a few record performances and memorable moments.
Javier Culson is great. But I think recent form and home advantage will get Dai Greene home in that one.

Hopefully they'll both be in the final heat. If Javier makes it, I'm pretty sure the final will be watched very intently here in P.R. I haven't heard much about our boxing team, and neither of the basketball teams (men's or ladies') qualified for the Games.... so Javier will be our best bet for a medal.

Dai tried to get into Culson's head in the days leading up to the final, and almost didn't qualify himself. And although Culson had to settle for the bronze in the event, my own satisfaction is that Greene finished 5th and out of the medals.

Javier Culson totally bottled it like he always does.

I feel sorry for you PR fellas.

The guy hadn't been beat all year, had all his comp covered, yet embarrassingly shit himself when it mattered. Without heart talent is pointless.

"Embarrassingly" you should reserve for Greene, who talked shit all week long... barely made it into the final... and finished 5th..... BEHIND Culson.

I was cheering for Culson not Greene.

I thought all week Culson didn't have the heart to win. He always fails. I had put money on him though. Trust me, I was as gutted as you and your fellow PR when he folded like a chicken in the home straight.

Typical of you to dismiss an athlete's effort, rather than give credit to those who actually won the event. You're just bent out of shape 'cause you lost your bet.
