If you were MMA orientated it would be a great and tough two weeks training there as there kick boxers like to test out visitors.

Why Thailand? On another web-site I check in on, there is a guy that posts videos from a camp in Thailand, and MMA camp...useless as hell for boxing. I would bet a ton that, close to where you are, there are a handful of guys with incredible amounts of boxing knowledge, that can teach you things you have yet to contemplate.
What matters, and this often goes unmentioned, is the personal connection you have with your trainer. The more you are able to be influenced by him, the more you will learn.

Im doing a lot of thai boxing at the minute as my dissertation title is about thai boxing, ive been training hard its such a good sport. Going to Thailand and training is worth it, you get so much out of it. one of the pros in my gym is currently out there on a camp and ill speak to him when he gets back.

In southport where I live, there are some good Thai boxing gyms, one in particular is Tony Chans gym in southport. This week there has been some really sad news from his gym as one of his promising fighters who was only 20 years old sadly passed away on the day he was returning from doing one of these camps. Here is the link about that: Southport boxer dies in Thailand holiday riddle - Southport Visiter

It really sad news what has happened, but it shows how challenging these camps really are.

Wonder what the post mortem will uncover? Let us know when they find out will you mate?
Could be a congenital heart thing, just had a mate die that way, it ran in his family, he finished surfing jumped back in the boat to come home was relaxed and went out like a light.
