Don't usually get into golf but god I felt sorry for Scott at the end of that.

I honestly think he had too big a lead going into those last four holes which made it worse for him !

Class from Ernie though to not overdo his celebrations and acknowledge what Scott had gone through first rather than put it down to his own game - though at the end of the day that was the lowest score !
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

I'm not a massive golf fan, but I enjoyed watching this tournament. The implosion at the end was dramatic, but I am glad Els won as he was the underdog and I was willing him on. I was thinking of putting a bet on him and Snedeker but I chickened out. If I had he wouldn't have won. It is one of those intergalactic jinx things. Everything I do can have an impact on the world at large. Arguably. Possibly. And so on.

I'm GLAD Ernie Els won. He's a classy guy (unlike Woods).

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Woods may someday pass Jack Nicklaus in career majors. But he'll always be second-rate when compared to the Golden Bear. Nicklaus had class, PLUS... he finished 2nd many more times than Woods will ever even approach. And he (Nicklaus) did it against much better opposition (Tom Watson, Gary Player, Lee TreviƱo, etc.).

F*ck Woods. I can't wait for the next phenom to come along and steal a few majors from him.
