i usually buy a career set for older fighters, since it's harder to find good quality downloads
Only career collections I have are McCallum and Toney.
Got a host of individual fights though.
Some are on VHS (google it if you are one of the youngsters who are ruining society and depressing house prices)
My library now consists of over 8K videos...
However I can't keep up with them and I've started cutting down and deleting some I don't want and only keep certain career set's of particular fighters I like and exciting fights or fights of the year and knock outs of the year.
As far as complete career sets: RJJ, ODLH, Cotto, Trinidad, PBF, Ali, Lennox, Naz, SSM, SRL, Hearns, Vitali & Wladdy.
All of the Legendary Nights of Boxing, All of the Beyond The Glory (boxing) and over 40 documentaries on boxers or the sport itself.
missing 4 early Morales fights
missing 6 early MAB fights
missing 8 early JMM fights
missing 13 early JCC Sr. fights
missing 1 Tyson fight (It makes me laugh a bit when people say they have complete Tyson sets because there is no footage of one Tyson fight. Allegedly some man in NY has it but is asking for good money not sure that's true)
missing 3 early Finito Lopez fights
missing 10 early Sanchez fights
I have about 90% of Durans career and same for Alexis.
About 80% of Wilfredo Gomez career.
About 65% of Olivares career.
Along with some nice gems like fights of Masao Ohba, Hilario Zapata, Gilberto Roman, Miguel Canto, Yoko Gushiken, Fighting Harada, Antonio Esparragoza, Dick Tiger, Ike Williams & Emile Griffith to name a few.
I'm missing only 9 fights of the year... '68, '62, '61, '54 & '45 thru '49.
Trust me brother it hasn't been free or easy...
I had to buy a membership for megaupload when it was around and would download day & night 24 hrs a day 7 days a week my pc was on.
On top of that having to watch, name, sort & transfer the files to a HD.
Now that I want to start recording them onto DVD I just don't have the time so I went to see about paying someone to record them for me... Muthafucka wants to charge me $3 dollars for every disc he records. I'm guessing it's around 150-200 discs. But who the fuck knows at then end how many it will be.
I used to trade bookoo fights when I first started watching and sadly have never purchased a career set. Unless I taped them starting in 88'ish on, don't 'own' all of the bouts of the greats-legends but if ya fought from then up until a couple of yrs ago, your covered. Obscure never weres and journeymen to Olympic debuts etc. Unfortunately though half of them are STILL on VHS and sitting in the denSad, I know. Waiting for the crew from "Hoarders" to come knocking at the door
