Apparently two thugs got into an argument with Mike, one of them threatened to shoot him and then they subsequently got the living shit beat out of them by Iron Mike

I remember there was choppy surveillance camera footage of the whole thing on the news back in the day, but I've had no luck finding it online.

I just remember Tyson sprinting after one of the men, leaping over a counter and then pummeling him.

there was also the airport incident not to long after the passing of his daughter, where he beat the shit out of a stalking paparazzi lol

Did he actually beat up that paparazzi ? I thought he just became hostile and threatening with him.

If he did beat him up then more power to him.

He punched the invasive wanker in the forehead and bust him up. According to witnesses Mike was protecting his family and was in the right. Good for him I say.

I think this should become a Thread on Tysons out of ring antics, whether it be rumour or something you have genuine knowledge of. I'll start by asking if one rumour I heard is true.

Is it true that Mike Tyson hung Frank Warren out of a window following the Julius Francis fight? I heard it was something to do with money!

Yep, Mike went to a jewlery shop in London while over for the Francis fight and booked a diamond encrusted watch to Warren When Warren said he wasnt going to stump up for it Mike grabbed him

I know that about 5 years ago, Mike auctioned off his Bentley for a childrens heart clinic. It was $300,000.00

Steve Lott nearly got Mike back with Rooney in 2001 with the idea of a proper comeback but his cronies didnt want to lose their gravy boat so put him off the idea

I actually remember it being on the news that he'd been and bought this watch. Was it £5million? I remember thinking "wow, for a watch?" At the time, but I didn't know he'd got Warren to pay for it.

I remember him arriving that day in London too. He arrived hours after another superstar, (I think it was George Michael but can't be sure) and the press were amazed at just how many more people were there for Tysons arrival.

Whether you love him or hate him he was the last true worldwide sporting megastar and in his day was probably the most recognisable face in the world.

In the eighties he was the most famous person in the world next to michael jackson, im not sure there is anyone comparable today to the fame they had then as no one is consistantly in the headlines as much. Tyson had his own nintendo game, was a spokesoerson for the FBI, was sponsored by pepsi etc. Maybe David Beckham comes close?

I wish hed get off that vegan diet too. Have you seen how thin his neck has gone? Maybe thats not excercising but bis neck especially looked visably smaller after he lost weight.

yea, I saw Mike at Wrestlemania in Miami (hey I got in for free lol), and Tyson looked tiny compared to all these wrestlers lol, was the shortest of the bunch and looked very skinny

I heard v Tyson poked Warren in the eye but I also heard he got his own back and made Tyson sign something in the Saverse fight dressing room. Think that's why Tyson went a bit mental and blasted out poor Lou and said he wanted to eat Lennox children and never came back to England.
