Thankfully, the boxing authorities did the right thing and reversed the decision, while also expelling the ref and an Azerbijani boxing official.

This is great its how all boxing should be conducted.
I've been watching the equestrian events ( they make those horses literally skip on alternate legs!)
Anyway they have a lot of judges and they omit the top scoring judge and the bottom scoring one after every event; so that there is zero chance of preferential voting for country of origin, or the rubbing out of another country who may be close to your own countries expertise.
I think its brilliant.

Yeah, this was it. Thanks for the correction I think I said he was Chinese and for that I apologize. I also saw the other fight referred to in your link and I'm glad they did something about both if these fights. I have Directv and have been recording alot of the boxing to watch later and it has been a treat.
