Well, assuming Vitali isnt taking steroids again then these stellar names would probably give them some trouble...

Riddick Bowe wouldn't put up a hard fight vs either brother. He never fought a power puncher his entire career.

Mike Tyson even in 1986 is debateable especially when discussing a Vitali vs Tyson matchup...maybe Mike could get to Wlad early on and follow up, but still it's a big ask.

Young Cassius Clay got damn near KO'd by Henry Cooper. He moved like lightning vs guys like Liston & Cleveland Williams, but the Klitschkos are a touch more athletic than those guys, but erroneous, I will concede the point vs Ali & vs Holmes (though I fully think Vitali & Wlad beat Holmes).

I think the most difficult fighter for either brother to beat is Evander Holyfield just because he's tough for everybody to beat. Evander was awkward to fight especially for an orthodox fighter with such conventional attribute, but he had workrate, solid defense, a head hard as iron, and the heart of a champion.

A younger Shannon Briggs would have been dangerous on HIS day, but then you're just judging potential. I think Shannon Briggs would hammer the shit out of Riddick Bowe.....Bowe is one of the more overrated fighters of all time, given his era Bowe fought NOBODY! No Tyson, no Lewis, no Mercer, no Ruddock, no Rahman, no Tua, NOBODY.

Corrie Sanders on his day is tough for anyone to beat, a big awkward southpaw with loads of power.

George Foreman of course deserves a mention at least because he was strong as an ox and had tremendous power.

When you have to preface a fighter with.. the "X" who beat "Y"... that in itself speaks volumes. It's not the same as talking about a fighter's prime, which all fighters begin and end.

I watched prime Bowe put in an outstanding effort against Holyfield... but also watched prime Bowe put in several pitiful efforts.

If there was a trophy for "doing the least with the most".... Riddick Bowe would win hands down.

I have always the feeling the 'Klitschko era Hate' stems from a fear that the Klitschkos might have beaten one's own hero.

The T.S sounds quite threatened by the klitschkos imo.

Klitschko is better than any past champ, better than me.
    -George foreman.

-People say they are bad fighters, they are not bad fighters; they are great fighters. They are not that exciting, but they are great fighters, they keep winning,”
    - Mike Tyson in a recent interview.

-I like the Klitschko boys, I think they’re in a class of their own.
    -Gerry cooney.

    They deserve there props.

    Stop hating.

He didn't even ATTEMPT to fight Lennox Lewis. Golota thrashed Bowe twice but he got DQ'd both times. If Golota looked that good vs Bowe how do you think Wlad would have looked vs him?

Riddick Bowe fought no punchers at all. His record outside of Holyfield, Golota, & Dokes is completely devoid of any meaningful names. You would imagine in 1990-1995 he would have been able to find someone worthwhile to fight. Hell I think Frank Bruno would have given Bowe fits.

Lennox already stopped Vitali in 6... Wlad would have been KO'd in 2.

Bowe would have KO'd Wlad in 3... Vitali would have quit in 9.

1986 Tyson would have KO'd Wlad in 1... Vitali would have quit in 5.

Larry Holmes and Cassius Clay would have both been KO'd by either Klit.

    Fact.

Bowe beat the shit out of Holyfield when Holyfield was at his best yet hes overrated and Holyfield would give the Klitschkos the most problems.....

The Klitschkos have plenty of losses netween them and not from when they were old faded names but because they werent great fighters. Lewis I believe would have lost had the fight continued but had that not been a 38 year old Lewis he wouldnt have gassed so early.

I think we all agree that Lewis had the beating of both of them at 38 years old. Their achievements may be more but in reality had they faced off with every decent heavy champ from Ali onwards they would have lost. I couldnt see them beating Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, Bowe, Holyfield or Lewis. They couldnt beat those lesser fighters mentioned above for fucksake!

Evander was far from his best against Bowe first time round to be fair. He had just walked in a room to find his brother shot dead the week before the fight. He was much closer to his best second time around and I think he was on his way to stopping Bowe until the fan man debacle.

I think Evander would have caused the brothers a hell of a lot of trouble and I fancy him to beat Vitali on points and stop Wladimir.
